The European Food Safety Authority, EFSA, is the risk assessment institute in Europe, it is based in Parma in Italy. Its scientific group of experts, called “Panels” discuss food hazards and the probability that these hazards occur. EFSA has produced a long list of opinion, e.g. on the 27 of June one on Listeria.
