A. General:
- 20 + years of experiencing in upgrading of EU agri-food business to EU standards, auditing of food establishment, verification of compliance, elaboration of plans and programs for upgrading.
- Thorough knowledge of the Aquis Communautaire in the field of veterinary public health, animal health and border controls.
- Introduction and evaluation of HACCP and GMP systems in food establishments. Lectures and seminars in that field.
- Providing software (databases) for assessment of agri-food businesses – laptops – hand held devices.
- Assessment of official national supervision of the food industry including legal framework, enforcement agencies, laboratories and checks on imports. Providing transpositions of EU rules and regulations and framework law in the veterinary field. Numerous lectures on EU veterinary rules.

Participated in negotiations on the EEA Agreement in the veterinary field. Responsible for supervising the introduction of EEA border inspection posts in Iceland and Norway, as these countries became part of the EU’s external veterinary border. |
